Restorations and Tooth Fillings
We provide tooth replacement operations to replace lost or damaged teeth. We use materials that appear, feel, and function like natural teeth to restore the tooth.
Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting or tooth grinding).
We have full capabilities to treat cavities on premises and can construct dental crowns that fit your teeth perfectly. We use mercury-free tooth fillings and have the ability to match the fillings to the color of your teeth, giving the fillings a more natural appearance.
There are several dental filling materials available today. Teeth can be filled with gold, porcelain, silver amalgam (a mixture of mercury, silver, tin, zinc, and copper), or tooth-colored, plastic, and composite resin fillings. Glass ionomer is another type of material that contains glass particles. This material is used in the same way that composite resin fillings are.
The type of filling best for you is determined by the location and extent of the decay, the cost of filling material, your insurance coverage, and your dentist’s recommendation.
